HARC
As the fourth-largest city in the country, Houston has one of the most respected medical centers in the world, yet nothing existed for long-term recovery and wellness for people with aphasia, their families and caregivers. All that changed on February 2, 2010. HARC opened its doors with programs for participants with aphasia, their caregivers, families and volunteers.
PUMPS & PIPES
Pumps & Pipes is an association of Medical, Energy, Aerospace, Academic and Community professionals and leaders. Founded in 2007, our core essentials are Education, Communication and Collaboration. Its guiding principle to problem solving is exploring “The Other Guy’s Toolkit”.
TEACH
To Educate All Children (TEACH), formerly known as Knowledge Arts Foundation (KAF), was founded in 2005 by business leader Susan Sarofim and lifelong educator Mary Yenik. With Susan’s career background in the staffing industry, and with Mary’s expertise in training educators and corporate leaders, these two women realized that no one has tougher sales work or a more important clientele than a teacher.
GIRL SCOUTS
Girl Scouts offers the best leadership development experience for girls in the world.
Girl Scouts unleashes the G.I.R.L.
